How long will it take?

The average pressurized leak detection process takes less than 2 hours. A drain repair patch can take as little as a few hours, or we can rehabilitate up 300 feet of pipe per day depending on the condition assessment.

What do I need to prepare the site?

For a leak detection visit, the office will be able to help you prepare for our arrival depending on the problem & environment. On the day of, bring popcorn & a cold beverage. The investigation process is more than interesting; it’s educational!

For drain repairs, we will provide all pre-work needs through a detailed game plan following the inspection & diagnostics process. We will be your guide for each step of the process. Necessary access points & basic plumbing will be scheduled in advance. It’s almost like magic!

Will my flooring or foundation be damaged?

Leak detection won't damage your home at all. Once we've located the leak, we pass the location details on to you & your plumber for repair. If you do not have a plumber, we would love to provide a solution.

Our goal when completing a drain repair is to use the access point(s) in a sewer system to conduct the repair. These access points may include cleanouts, roof vents, & most all fixtures. There are times when a very small access hole is needed. Again, we strive to minimize invasive access needs to preserve your infrastructure.

What can I do to prevent problems in the future?

Outside of updating your outdated infrastructure, the best approach is to monitor your usage by paying attention to your utility bills & identifying problems early. The most common causes for pressurized leaks are time, usage, ground movement of the earth from precipitation, and other natural causes.

Drains cannot transfer all types of waste, so be careful what you put down the drain! Grease, food, soap suds, chemicals & hard water can all contribute to a faster rate of degradation. Time & usage are still the biggest contributing factors to failing drains. It is best to conduct an annual sewer inspection to beat any emergency to the punch.
