The Problem

The family experienced persistent clogging issues due to a deteriorated section of the existing cast iron piping system. The presence of high-value finished flooring precluded traditional excavation methods, necessitating a non-invasive repair approach.

The Process

Began with a comprehensive CCTV inspection to assess the full extent of the damage, verify pipe conditions, and confirm measurements. The lines were thoroughly cleaned using premium chains and heavy grit sandpaper to remove debris, buildup, and any loose material that could inhibit proper liner installation. After the pipe was prepared, we installed NuFlow liners saturated with a high-strength epoxy resin. The liners were pulled into place and expanded to conform tightly to the host pipe, effectively sealing the open section of the piping system restoring structural integrity.

The Solution

To address the identified deterioration in the pipe and eliminate recurring clogging issues, a trenchless pipelining solution was recommended as a non-invasive and structurally sound rehabilitation method.

Outcomes

This reinstated proper flow, prevents future infiltration or exfiltration, and significantly extends the service life of the pipeline—typically by 50 years or more.  Most importantly, it avoided disturbance to the high-end flooring, preserving the integrity and aesthetics of the property while delivering a long-term, cost-effective repair.
